The Impact Foundations Fund (FdF Impacto) has successfully held its III Demo Day for its fifth call, consolidating itself as one of the main collaborative impact investment initiatives for foundations in Spain.
During the day, seven finalist projects presented their proposals to the participating foundations of the investment vehicle: B de Bocata, Café, NeurekaLAB, Project Roots, Extraordinary Projects Social Enterprise, Naturalia Bureba y THEAD System.
The projects represent a wide diversity of innovative solutions aimed at tackling some of the main social and territorial challenges in our country, from the labour inclusion of vulnerable individuals to rural development, education, health, and the generation of impact jobs.
Following the evaluation process carried out by the 45 foundations that are part of FdF Impact, the projects B de Bocata, NeurekaLAB and Proyecto Arraigo you have been selected to receive funding and strategic support with the aim of accelerating your growth and expanding your social impact.
In addition to the finalists' pitches, the event hosted a round table discussion “Entrepreneurship from the Third Sector”, a space for reflection where leading organisations shared their experience in driving business initiatives from the social economy.
The conversation involved representatives from Fundación ONCE / Inserta and ILUNION, HOGAR SÍ, Fundación Nexo and AMICOS Association, who addressed the challenges, opportunities, and lessons learned from undertaking initiatives from third sector organisations to generate sustainable long-term solutions.
The day highlighted the growing relevance of impact enterprises as tools for responding to complex social and environmental challenges, as well as the need to combine flexible financing, strategic support, and collaboration among stakeholders to facilitate their growth and consolidation.
The event concluded with the presentation of awards to the winning projects and with special thanks to the The Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation for hosting the meeting at Infinite Delights, as well as to all the foundations, entrepreneurs, and collaborating entities that have made a new edition of this initiative possible.
